What Our Customers Say
We know, it's all well and good us telling you how great we are. But what about some people that have actually used our product?
The MRCP PACES exam is a clinical examination that is part of the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) qualification in the UK. It is designed to test the practical clinical skills of doctors who are training to become physicians. PACES stands for Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills. Alongside your MRCP PACES revision, as part of the MRCP you will need to revise for your MRCP part 1 and MRCP part 2 exams. The clinical setting of MRCP PACES is designed to assess your clinical competency in a real-life setting. Despite the clinical setting, at Pastest we’ve developed a MRCP PACES online revision course to help you prepare fully for this exam. Our MRCP paces question bank includes 135 'Gold standard' example cases to help you fully prepare for the exam.
How long it will take you to prepare for the MRCP PACES exam is down to you and your style of learning, however, people typically say it takes between 6-12 months in general to fully prepare for the exam. Our MRCP PACES online revision course is available through subscription, so you can easily subscribe to our MRCP PACES revision materials for as long as you need! With our searchable textbook, an app that helps you track your progress and an extensive MRCP PACES question bank, you can find all the help you need to pass. You can also combine our MRCP part 1 and MRCP part 2 revision guides to help you pass the exam! Want to try before subscribing? Enjoy a 48 hour free trial!
The MRCP PACES exam is notoriously challenging, with a relatively low pass rate (around 50%) and a reputation for being rigorous and demanding. However, by prioritising your MRCP PACES revision a good 6 months (or more!) before the exam, you can be confident in your ability to pass first-time. Many of our students who took our MRCP PACES online revision course passed the first time, as you can read here in Dr Atef El Dean’s blog for Pastest! Our extensive videos, podcasts and MRCP PACES question bank are some of the best resources you can use to prepare for your exam.
The MRCP PACES is a different sort of exam, in a clinical setting, rotating through a circuit of patients and examiners to assess your clinical abilities. It’s essential that as well as fully preparing for the exam with our MCRP PACES online revision course, you keep calm in the exam and assess everyone calmly. Remember, you’re not just being tested on material - you’ll also be tested on your professionalism, and interpersonal and communication skills. Practicing assessments with our MRCP PACES question bank, with over 135 'Gold standard' example cases, will help you improve your skills before the examination.
