Have you got what it takes to be the Last Medic Standing?

By entering The Last Medic Standing competition, participants agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Promoter: The competition is organised by PasTest Limited, referred to in these terms as “Pastest”.
2. Competition period: The qualifying round opens on 25 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm GMT on 31 October 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility: The competition is open to medical students aged 18 or over who are studying at a UK medical school at the time of entry. Employees of Pastest, their immediate families and anyone directly involved in administering the competition may not enter.
4. How to enter: Participants must complete and submit the official online qualifying quiz before the closing time. Entry is free and no purchase or paid Pastest subscription is required.
5. Entry limit: Only one entry is permitted per person. Multiple entries, entries made using different email addresses or entries submitted on another person’s behalf may be disqualified.
6. Participant information: Entrants must provide accurate contact and eligibility information. Pastest may ask participants to provide reasonable evidence of their identity, age or medical student status.
7. Independent completion: The qualifying quiz must be completed independently. Participants must not receive help from another person or use artificial intelligence, online searches, textbooks, notes or other unauthorised resources while completing the quiz.
8. Scoring: Participants will be ranked according to the number of questions answered correctly. Only valid, eligible and fully completed entries will be included in the final ranking.
9. Progression: Participants who finish within the top 10% of valid qualifying entries will be invited to the next stage of the competition. The number of participants progressing will be calculated after the qualifying round closes.
10. Tied scores: If multiple participants achieve the same score at the top 10% cut-off point, all eligible participants tied at that point will be invited to the next stage.
11. Next-stage invitations: Successful participants will be contacted using the email address provided when entering. Participants must respond within the timeframe stated in their invitation. If they do not respond, Pastest may withdraw the invitation and offer the place to another eligible participant.
12. Competition format: The competition is expected to include an online qualifying round, an online semi-final and an in-person final. Pastest may make reasonable changes to the format, dates, timings or location where necessary.
13. Prizes: Prizes worth up to £10,000 will be available across the competition. The full prize breakdown, allocation and any applicable restrictions will be communicated to participants before the final.
14. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another alternative unless Pastest decides otherwise.
15. Pastest may disqualify any participant where it reasonably suspects cheating, manipulation of the quiz, inaccurate information, misconduct or a breach of these terms.
16. Pastest’s decisions concerning eligibility, scoring, progression and the outcome of the competition are final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding these decisions.
17. Pastest is not responsible for entries that are incomplete, late, corrupted or not received due to technical problems outside its reasonable control.
18. Pastest may cancel, suspend or amend the competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary. Any material changes will be communicated through appropriate Pastest channels.
19. Personal information: Personal data will be used to administer the competition, verify eligibility, contact participants and manage progression through its stages. Information will be processed in accordance with the Pastest Privacy Policy .
20. Marketing communications will only be sent where the participant has provided the appropriate consent. Participants can withdraw their marketing consent at any time without affecting their competition entry.
21. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the competition.
