Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM)

The MRCEM qualification supports doctors progressing through Emergency Medicine training. The exam pathway assesses both core scientific knowledge and the ability to apply clinical understanding to patients presenting in the Emergency Department.

MRCEM Primary exam

MRCEM Primary is intended for doctors at the beginning of their Emergency Medicine training who are preparing for the first written examination in the MRCEM qualification.

It's recommended to begin your revision several months before your exam, allowing plenty of time to build your understanding of the basic sciences and complete multiple passes through the question bank.
