How do I reset my performance data?
Can I extend my subscription?
When do the subscription prices change?
We change the majority of our subscriptions and prices based on exam dates. For example, if the MRCP Part 1 exam takes place on 6th September 2016, by that date we will:
- Remove the September 2016 subscription
- Add a May 2017 subscription
- Change the price of the January 2017 subscription as it becomes the 'next' exam
Can I cancel my order?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your Pastest online subscription, let us know within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund your payment, providing you have not answered more than 50 questions (written exam subscriptions) or 5 cases (clinical exam subscriptions).
To request a refund, email email@example.com.
Where do the online questions come from?
Our online questions are written by a team of exam-specific editors, all of whom have passed the exam they're writing for.
Questions are based on past questions and exam themes, and have been written specifically for Pastest. With very few exceptions (approximately 5% of MRCPCH FOP/TAS) the questions are written exclusively for Pastest online subscriptions and are different to the questions in Pastest books.
We have provided feedback buttons throughout our site so that you can let us know your opinion or submit a query about a question. We endeavour to respond to queries as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee a response time, especially if your query has had to be referred to an online editor.
We respond to queries directly related to our products and questions only; we do not provide a medical reference service. We operate a zero tolerance policy for abusive/aggressive language.
Web browserWe recommend using the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer (we no longer support 10.0 and earlier). The Pastest website supports current versions of these browsers. Although it can be viewed on older browser versions, some features may not be fully supported.
To access media on MyPastest you will need the latest version of Flash installed. This can be downloaded for free at www.flash.com.
If you are using a device that does not support Flash (such as an Android phone or tablet) then we recommend downloading the Dolphin Browser which supports Flash-based media.
Some browsers have a default setting of 'Disabled' for Flash; check in your browser settings that Flash is 'Enabled'. For Chrome, for example, enter this into your browser: chrome://settings/content/flash
To check if you have the latest version of Flash in Chrome, enter this into your browser: chrome://components/
To work through our Qbanks, we recommend an internet speed of at least 256kbps. To stream videos, you will need broadband internet with a speed of at least 1,500kbps for uninterrupted viewing.
If you are experiencing issues playing media on the Pastest website please complete all of the following and email the results to firstname.lastname@example.org

Purchase of products
Description of products
Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out additional specific conditions related to that product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, guarantees, and after-sales service.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted, in accordance with our order acceptance policy.
Prices and descriptions may be updated from time to time and are subject to change. You must ensure that prior to placing an order you have checked all relevant details about the products and/or services you have selected. We cannot confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted in accordance with our order acceptance policy. Details of this policy can be found in the 'contract creation and electronic contracting' section below.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.
Contract creation and electronic contracting
The technical steps required to create the contract (order acceptance policy) between you and Pastest Limited are as follows:
- You place the order for your products on the website by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process
- Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy our product(s)
- We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Pastest Limited.
- Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Pastest Limited will take place on the despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in 'change or cancel your order'
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
All disputes arising from this contract shall be governed by English law and statutes.
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system.
The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery charges as set out in the delivery section of this website. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the payment section of this website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account as set out in the payment section of the website.
You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Refusal of transaction
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on the website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason, or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of: our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
We use internet standard encryption technology to protect your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address. This process is known as SSL (secure sockets layer). To check that you are in a secure area of our site look at the bottom of your browser to see a closed padlock or an unbroken key. When you make a purchase from our website, we collect certain personal information from you (for example: your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number, etc).
